The Espresso Martini

Espresso Martini, Baileys Irish Cream Martini

Do you believe in elixirs?  Aphrodisiacs? I’m a skeptic.  I’ve never gone looking for them but an errant oyster or spear of asparagus does cross one’s path from time to time.

Any feelings of amore stirring?  Nada.

Enter this unassuming libation one evening when a soft, creamy mixture of tan decadence and deliciousness, hinting of danger, passed my lips.

whoa.

Therefore, I feel it’s my responsibility to add a disclaimer to this cocktail along with the recipe.  And with these words, I am absolved.  :)

Use it for good…

Marilyn this looks yummy and sounds sinfully scrumptious! I've been working on my blog re-do and been busy finishing some courses ~ this martini may be what just what the doctor ordered! Thanks for sharing..xo C. (HHL)

Hi Marilyn,

This looks so good! My girlfriend makes her version whenever she hosts Bunco. They are so rich and delicious. I have to be careful how much I drink.. they keep me awake at night!!

Celia - Can't wait for the unveiling. :)

Shull - The clear. It's actually in the shot glass photo but because it's clear it's hard to see. I don't think it would matter. Good either way. :)
